Lets say that you had a bunch of JPEG files that you wanted to include in your website under summer vacation topic. Instead of having to remember complicated names for each of the pictures, you could just change them all to a base name and a number. Although this may not sound great to do in this example, it would prove to be helpful if you were going to have many files in a web page. Lets begin the Tutorial.
1. Begin by opening AutoRename 1.0.
2. Click on the button "Select Folder" or select "Select Folder" from the "File" menu.
3. Search in the dialog for folder "summer vacation" in the Tutorial folder.
4. Type "SummerAlbum" into the base name line.
5. Select "jpg" from the "Force *.*" pop-up menu. (All the files are sure to be jpg or JPEG files, this just ensures that they will all say that before they are uploaded.)
